For cabin owners, workshops, small commercial sites, and wood-stove-heated homes on larger properties, it often means three cords or more. Whatever the size, the wood is the same premium mix of seasoned, split Vancouver Island species: Douglas fir, western hemlock, some maple and alder. All split and air-dried to below 20% moisture content, so it burns hot, clean, and low-creosote in a stove, insert, or fireplace.

A true cord is 128 cubic feet, a stack four feet high, four feet deep, and eight feet long. When we sell you a cord, it’s a full cord, and when we sell you two cords it’s actually 256 cubic feet on the ground. That matters more on bulk orders because the volume adds up fast. Extended-zone deliveries carry a higher fee to cover the drive time, but bulk actually helps here. You’re still only paying the fee once. That’s why cabins and acreages out toward Sooke, East Sooke, and the Highlands lean heavily on our multi-cord service.
