We’ve officially locked in regular Peninsula and Greater Victoria delivery routes for the winter — which means Sidney, North Saanich, Central Saanich, Brentwood Bay, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, the Highlands, Prospect Lake, and Elk Lake homes can now count on same-week seasoned cords all season long. Extended-zone service to Langford, Colwood, Metchosin, Sooke, and Goldstream is on schedule too. If you’re new here, this is what our seasoned firewood delivery across Saanich and Greater Victoria is all about — ready-to-burn wood, honest flat pricing, straight from the owner.
Here’s what changes, where we deliver, and how to book.
Where we deliver on the Peninsula
For most of the Saanich Peninsula, we’re now on a same-week delivery schedule. That means if you call or text on a Monday, we’re generally dropping a cord by Thursday or Friday — sometimes sooner if the truck is already routed your way.
Communities we’re covering weekly:
- Sidney — including Downtown Sidney, Sidney by the Sea, and the Deep Cove edge
- North Saanich — Deep Cove, Curteis Point, Lands End, Ardmore
- Brentwood Bay & Central Saanich — the village, Butchart Gardens area, waterfront lanes, Saanichton edge
- Oak Bay — Uplands, Estevan Village, Willows, and the Oak Bay Avenue corridor
- Esquimalt, Prospect Lake, Elk Lake — text your address for the exact zone
Cold snap coming? Book earlier. When the forecast turns cold, everyone tries to top up in the same week. Give yourself a few days of buffer if you can — we’ll always try to squeeze in urgent restocks, but scheduling earlier means you never worry about it.
Extended-zone West Shore delivery
Places like the Highlands, Langford (including Bear Mountain), Colwood, Goldstream, Metchosin, and Sooke sit on our scheduled extended-zone route. These runs happen on set days rather than same-week promise — and they carry a higher delivery fee to cover the drive time. But we’ve kept those fees fair. A lot of suppliers charge a premium here that has nothing to do with the actual cost of the trip.
Extended-zone loads make particular sense for wood-stove-heavy homes and acreage properties. If you’re heating with wood as a primary source and going through multiple cords a season, a two-cord ($775) or bulk multi-cord order drops in one trip — one delivery fee, one drop, done. That’s especially true for cabins, shops, and workshops on rural driveways where you’d rather not schedule multiple trips.
How pricing works
Same flat pricing across every zone we deliver to:
| Order | Price |
|---|---|
| 1 Cord (128 cu ft) | $400 |
| 2 Cords | $775 (save $25) |
| Multi-cord / bulk | $400 per cord |
Delivery fees vary by zone. Text or call and we’ll quote it up front — no surprises at the truck door. Payment is cash or e-transfer at delivery, direct to the owner. There’s no website checkout, no card surcharges.
How to order
Every order goes through Robbie by phone or text at (778) 404-0226. That’s on purpose — you get honest lead times for your zone, an accurate delivery quote, and someone who can actually solve problems if the day shifts.
When you reach out, have this ready:
- Address (include driveway notes if access is tight or the road is narrow)
- Cord count — one, two, or bulk
- Where to dump — a photo helps if there’s any doubt about the drop location
- Timing — any constraints, a weekend away, a cold-front deadline
We’ll confirm the zone fee and lock in a slot in one message.
Outside our zone? Sister sites cover the Island
If you’re outside the Peninsula and West Shore areas, we may still be able to help through one of the sister firewood operations we run across Vancouver Island — Cowichan, Nanaimo, Langford, and Comox. Same wood, same fair pricing, closer delivery. Ask when you call and we’ll point you the right way.
