# Terms of Service

## 1\. Agreement

By ordering firewood from Saanich Firewood — whether by phone, text, email, or the contact form — you agree to the terms below.

## 2\. What we sell

We supply seasoned, split, ready-to-burn firewood delivered to the Saanich Peninsula and Greater Victoria. Common services include:

-   Single-cord and two-cord dumped deliveries
-   Bulk and commercial firewood for cabins, workshops, and businesses

## 3\. Pricing and payment

Pricing is flat: **$400 per cord** or **$775 for two cords**. Delivery fees vary by zone and are quoted up front when you order. Payment is due at delivery, direct to the owner, by cash or e-transfer. There is no online checkout and no credit card processing on this website.

## 4\. Volume

A cord is 128 cubic feet — a stack measuring 4 ft × 4 ft × 8 ft. Deliveries are dumped rather than pre-stacked, but the volume delivered corresponds to a full cord (or the multiple you ordered).

## 5\. Delivery scheduling

We aim for same-week delivery within the affordable Peninsula zone. Extended-zone deliveries (Highlands, Metchosin, Sooke, Langford and similar) run on a scheduled route and may take longer, especially around cold snaps. Timing is confirmed when you book.

## 6\. Access and site conditions

You are responsible for identifying a safe drop location the delivery truck can reach. Please flag narrow driveways, gates, low overhangs, soft shoulders, or any other access limitations when you book. We are not responsible for damage to shared or unsafe drop locations that were not disclosed in advance.

## 7\. Cancellations and rescheduling

Please give as much notice as possible for cancellations or rescheduling — a phone call or text works. Same-day cancellations after we've dispatched a load may not be possible.

## 8\. Quality

Every load is seasoned split wood ready to burn. If a delivery arrives in materially poor condition — for example, an obvious volume shortfall or wet wood that clearly wasn't seasoned — contact us within 48 hours by phone or text and we'll make it right.

## 9\. Limitation of liability

Saanich Firewood is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of firewood we deliver, including chimney fires, appliance damage, or other issues caused by improper burning practices, poor storage, incompatible appliances, or unmaintained flues.

## 10\. Website content

Content on this website is provided for general information about our firewood delivery service. It does not constitute contractual promises beyond what has been confirmed directly by phone, text, or email.

## 11\. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
